Our Process

What we’ll need from you:

  • Your completed manuscript (including all of your front/back matter)
    • This includes your ISBN for both ebook and paperback, any social media links as well as the list of previous titles and their sales links per sales venue
  • Cover art and other photo files
    • All provided images should be 300DPI at the very least.
    • The more images you have, the larger your file size will be. Many publishing platforms have size limitations or additional charges for large-sized files. Please keep that in mind.
  • Your detailed requirements (font size, color, document alignment, paragraph spacing, and so on. I need to know it ALL!)
    • Please keep in mind that many e-reader devices and programs have their own settings that often allow the user to change font type, size, color, and background color.
  • An open line of communication is a must!
    • We would love to be able to get a hold of you quickly should we have questions or encounter any problems, especially if your project has a tight deadline.
    • E-mail communication is ideal.
  • If you’re sending your manuscript for formatting only, make sure the manuscript you send us has been thoroughly edited and proofread before it gets to us! Formatting should be the last step you take before publishing. Please keep in mind that while we have a very critical eye, we cannot stress the importance of thorough editing. Don’t be that guy!

Here’s how we work:

  • We prefer to work from a Microsoft Word document as the base file.
  • A base outline of our pricing is available HERE.
    • All charges are negotiable and may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
  • We will provide you with a fully detailed invoice upfront.
    • We accept payments via PayPal only.
    • A 50% deposit is due at the start of our collaboration.
      • We will not send your final files to you until you have paid the remainder.
  • Once we have begun the process and you have paid, charges are non-refundable.
  • Any files created for you will be transferred via e-mail DIRECTLY to you. We will never use a website or file sharing service to get your files to you.
  • We highly suggest you back up your own files after receiving them from us.

Turn-around may vary from 72 hours to a week depending on the size of your book and your specific needs. You will be informed of our expected completion time upfront.

  • 48-hour rush formatting is available for an additional $25.00 fee. That will get you everything you require in less than 48 hours after you pay, provided we have no other obligations preceding yours.
  • 24-hour super rush formatting is available for an additional $50 fee to be added to your final price. That will get you everything you require in less than 24 hours after you pay, provided we have no other obligations preceding yours.
  • If you choose to have your project rushed, we require full payment upfront.
